What I’m going to tell you now is probably going to sound shocking

First we need to understand why other methods of fat loss simply DO NOT WORK

Take the Ketogenic diet for example...it tells you you can tone up and lose weight by cutting out carbs. Yes, you can lose weight doing it, by creating a calorie deficit, but it is HARD cutting out bread, pasta, pizza, and chocolate! As for gaining muscle...you’ll struggle!

Yes it will help people with a lot of weight to lose drop a stone or two, but then it stops. Then because you’ve been relying on their ‘Syn’ system, you are left with no idea what foods are actually useful for your body, essentially you’re totally on your own to struggle, vulnerable to all of these so called"diet gurus'" completely rubbish diet plans!

So now you know what doesn't work, let me tell you what DOES work.

So i guess it’s time to introduce our team, the masterminds behind the 8 Week Trim and Tone Package!

I’m Andy and I’ve been a personal trainer for well over 6 years now. In that time I have spend countless hours studying the art of improving people’s bodies as well as their lifestyles via science based methods. No bullshit, just results. 

​

When I was young I was diagnosed with Perthes disease: a rare condition where the head of the femur doesn’t receive adequate blood flow and basically starts crumbling away. This was a huge part of my fitness journey, as it stopped me exercising when i was young, leading to weight gain. I know how it feels to be overweight and unhappy with your body. These days I find myself (sort of) thankful that I had Perthes, as it has given me the drive and experience to navigate the complex field of fitness and find the most effective and efficient methods to get you results and make you feel GREAT in front of that mirror!

 

As you may know, the fitness industry is a minefield of supposed quick-fix solutions that seem impossible to achieve, never work for any length of time and simply prey on the desperation of most -who just want to improve their physique and feel more confident -just like me when I was an 18 year old lad. The fact is, losing weight and toning muscle can be complicated, its hard to know what works and what doesn't, but this complex science, like anything, can be broken down into simple principles. It is only when someone teaches you these simple principles and shows you how to implement them in your training and every day life you will see long term results.

 

This is why I started Roots Fitness, I want to teach these simple principles to as many people as I can, at an affordable price. I want to give those people who are willing to put the 3 hours of effort in a week and work positive changes into their regime the same feeling I had when I saw my obliques for the first time - chuffed to bits!

By week 2, most of our clients lose between 3 and 5 pounds. They feel more energetic and they love seeing the scale go down. They think they can notice physical changes, but they aren’t 100%.

By the time week 4 is done, most have dropped a dress size, and KNOW they look different. They’ve noticed less ‘overhang’ when they sit down, and they actually think their arms and thighs are looking pretty good.

How long do I need to spare each week?
3 hours to train with your coach at our facility

Will you help me with my diet?
Of course! We have guides and videos, meal plan templates and recipes, you can ask your coach during the session, or via email at any time. We also offer daily check-ins via text, if you require them!

Is there a limit to the number of people you take on?
There will never be more than three other people in your session if you choose small group training!

​

I have an injury. Can I still participate?
This will be discussed on the phone and will be on a per individual basis!

​

I’m vegan/ vegetarian/ celiac/ have food allergies, etc. is it still for me?
Of course! So long as you can make choices which fit in with your dietary requirements! Your coach will help with this.

Is there a discount if I sign up with my partner/ a friend?
Yes! We will discuss this on the phone!

​

How does this differ from regular personal training?
Not very much! We aim to keep the quality and personal feel, at a fraction of the cost!

Am I tied into a contract?
No! Once your 8 weeks is up, should you decided it’s not for you, you are not tied into a contract
